Also, I would like to narrate Part 2, chapters 1 & 2, please! :D
Thanks again for this chapter! It sounds great, and I enjoyed the voices you gave the different characters. :) I have just a few notes:

- At 1:00 "from the booking office," you say "of the book office" (p. 1)
- At 2:45, "having been overpowdered professionally," I hear "having been overpowered professionally" (p. 2)
- At 18:37, "nothing against doing anything in the world," you say "nothing against anything in the world" (p. 14)
- At the very end before the five seconds of silence, could you add, "End of Part 1, Chapter 1"?
For the time being, I'll need a little more time than usual to PL sections that come in on weekdays. Thanks for your patience.

PL OK! Thank you! And don't even worry about skipping the line at 5:30. It happens to many! :)

Yay! First try! :D

Here is Section 8 (Part 1, Chapter 8):

Please note that there appears to be a typo in the text on page 167, "that will always be in the wars life the father before me" where the author probably meant "like". I read it exactly as it was on the page, that being my understanding of the LibriVox Way, but it'll probably sound a bit funny when you get to it.

And I should like to claim sections 11, 12, and 13 if I may!

It is quite common to see these errors where the automated system has misread a word (maybe due to a blot or crease on the page of the original). We usually correct them in the reading, and report the error to Gutenberg.

In this case, Archive rather than Gutenberg, and the text looks like photocopy scans of the pages of the published book. So we may have the original publisher to blame here.

I'd be happy to edit it to the word that makes more sense.

Thank you for section 8! It sounds great, as always. I have just a few notes:

- At 5:45, "since Jacob served for Rachel," you say "since Jacob served Rachel" (p. 164)
- At 9:06, the typo on p. 167 that you mentioned, could you change "life" to "like"? Good catch, by the way! I was looking out for typos when I read this so that I could note them in the MW, but I missed that one. (Too caught up in Major Foster's drama to notice it, probably. )

Section 11-13 are all yours! Thank you for claiming!

PL OK! Thank you!

If you mean "Reply with quote" to the original post vs. "Post Reply," either way is fine! :)
