Many thanks,
Lora
Absolutely no problem, Lora! Thanks for letting us know, but it's fine. :)

Hello, Jonny, sorry for the delay in replying, I am in the middle of a trip. But thanks for claiming, I see you already had your test OKed, so you can go ahead and record!

Attached is section 7, "Mahomet's Death ..." in 23:11:

Now, for a break from heavy-duty history, I'll sign up for section 9, William Schwenck Gilbert poems, which, from my preview, seem to be of a lighter fare...

Thank you,
Brize

Thanks, Brize!

That is the beauty of anthologies - you can take a break from one genre going to a different one in the same book! Thanks for claiming!

Glad I ran across that, had never heard of him. But would now like to skip ahead to Gogol (whom I HAVE heard of), section 20, please. Should keep me busy for a while.

Oh, also noticed section 7 is not marked "ready for PL", though I believe it is.

Thank you,
Brize

Section 20, Selected Scenes by Gogol, attached, running 36:47.

https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/worldsbestliterature16_20_various_128kb.mp3

Brize Crize did not realize that the Russian penchant for repeating proper nouns would hinder Brize Crize's ability to keep Brize Crize's sentence rhythm up during narration. (It's so elegant when reading silently, so perhaps my lack of elegance of speech was the problem.)

Anyway, Brize Crize inadvertently skipped over the Gogol intro, which is section 19, so would like to double back and volunteer for that section next, please.

Thanks you,
BC
