I leave it to the reader 8-)
I would agree with that. But you do say in the MW that I should footnote and end of footnote? To quote it says:

Please read footnotes in the format "Footnote... end footnote" at the end of the sentence or paragraph to which they refer.
That's true... but if you think it more logical elsewhere, that's fine. Rules are made to be broken, right? This is more of a guideline than a hard and fast rule.
OK, thanks. I appreciate being able to decide; I have done the footnotes for this chapter as I sincerely think is the best way for the chapter.

Section 2 [calls it chapter 2 in the text but I've stuck to the MW]

There is no good way to do footnotes, especially when there's a long table in the footnotes. I put them at the end. The footnotes did add something so I wanted to include them.

Thank you.
I agree… I hate footnotes, but sometimes they add interest.

Section 2 PL Notes:
  • 01:12 Stumble on "applicability"
  • 18:40 Greek quote omitted. The transliteration is: Kreetes aei pseustai, kaka theeria, gasteres argai. (Where "ee" indicates the long-e η character.)

Thanks! I wasn't sure what to do with the Greek. I am going to ask for help in the help thread. Aren't there six ways in Greek of having the "ee" sound?

That depends on the period in which the Greek was written. In this case it's New Testament Koiné Greek, so is close to the ee in heed in RP, or even the Australian vowel in "fish", which I as a Kiwi hear as "feeesh".

Thank you both for working this out… I hadn’t realized there was Greek in the section (or if there is anywhere else in the book). I’d be totally out of my depth
