Is uploaded and ready for PL

I took an extended break from recording but should complete the remainder of my current commitments for the Homilies over the rest of this week.
Sections 5 and 6 are PL OK!

showard wrote: June 28th, 2022, 7:57 pm Hi there!
I'm thinking about recording Homilies 11 and 12, however as a new reader I'm pretty intimidated by Latin. I was definitely not raised in a Catholic church so my understanding of Latin is none. Do you have any good resources for how to pronounce the few sections of Latin in each homily before I commit to recording them?
Thanks in advance! :D
You have a couple of options.
  • Pronounce it however you want.
  • Post in this thread or this thread and ask for someone to record it for you to copy.
  • Post in this thread or this thread and ask for someone to record it for you which you can edit into your own recording.
  • Copy and paste it into Google Translate and press the sound icon with Latin selected. You'll get a weird Italian style pronunication that you could copy.
  • (Worst case) Pick another project which doesn't have Latin. Unfortunately, LV policy is that foreign language stuff needs to be included if it's there in the original text.

INTheDesert,

Please consider allowing me an extension on "The Holy Sunday of Pentecost" sermon.

I am currently editing and finishing "The Last Years of Paul", to be followed by "The Last Years of the Apostle Peter", which is currently being marked up and rehearsed.

I am currently marking the Sermon on Pentecost, and will pursue recording following "The Last Years of the Apostle Peter", assuming a favorable decision on an extension of this deadline.

Thank you for your patience amd understanding on these worthy projects.

Respectfully submitted, :D
