Hey, this is cool! I'll take section 15. Love me some Easter!
I'm actually taking an Old English class right now. Learning to translate and all that. I'm only like three weeks in, so don't expect anything too brilliant from me. But anyway, the link in your signature caught my attention because I just found this text at this website my teacher pointed me towards: http://www.oldenglishaerobics.net/aelfric_job.html
Well, that and because Aelfric's name is peppered throughout my textbook.

All yours! And then once this project is finished, you can do the whole thing again in old English...mightyfelix wrote: ↑June 15th, 2022, 9:41 pm Hey, this is cool! I'll take section 15. Love me some Easter!

I wrote this little program to automatically create my signature and it seems to have attracted several people to my BCs so I guess it was worth doing!

Actually, this book is going to be super helpful to me as I learn. Having the side-by-side translation is so nice! I've shared this with my classmates and will certainly be coming back to it.

I very much doubt I'll ever read the whole thing in Old English. But maybe for fun one day, I'll choose one homily (a short one) to read for the Multilingual Collection.

Hi there!
I'm thinking about recording Homilies 11 and 12, however as a new reader I'm pretty intimidated by Latin. I was definitely not raised in a Catholic church so my understanding of Latin is none. Do you have any good resources for how to pronounce the few sections of Latin in each homily before I commit to recording them?
Thanks in advance!
