I will DPL this book. I will also read the short Note at the beginning, so I'd appreciate a volunteer to PL that section for me when the time comes.

The chapters here are all fairly lengthy, except for the concluding chapter. Still, I estimate that the longest of them shouldn't be more than 45 minutes after editing, or an hour at the very most. If for some reason, you find that my estimate is way off and your recording is going longer than that, let me know! I'd prefer not to have to split these chapters apart, but of course we can if we have to.

Well I do have to cut down on my recording, but can't really pass up doing something in this, so could I take Section 5?
On the road again, so delays are possible

Welcome to LibriVox! I would be happy to have you join us in this project. However, since these chapters are very long, and you are new here, I'd like you to start with just one chapter please, instead of four at once. I will assign chapter 1 to you, unless you'd prefer to start with a different one of the four, and when that one is complete, feel free to claim another!

What name would you like to use in the catalogue? It can be your real name, your screen name, or some other pseudonym.

You should also complete a one-minute test before you get started on this project: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test This is just to check your technical settings. You don't want to spend an hour recording, only to have to scrap the recording and start over due to some setting that was off when you started.

Beginning with one chapter sounds great. My screen name can just be my legal name, Heather Knapp. I am looking forward to getting started!

I have recorded and uploaded the very short note given at the beginning of this book. I won't be able to PL it myself. Do I have any volunteers who would be willing to do this for me?
