adr6090 wrote: May 5th, 2022, 9:05 am Hello, I am not seeing page 264 in this book so the dpling of section 13 is at a standstill. Suggestions, please?
Hi April, are you referring to the physical book page numbers or the archive page numbers in the slider at the bottom of the page? I am able to see both, so that is strange you are experiencing that glitch.

Either way, it is not a LibriVox requirement to read along with every word in the text as long as you listen for repeats or obvious errors. I know that I do like to follow along with the text like you are doing even though not required, but especially for just one page as long as you listen to the audio and it seems to make sense, I don’t have a problem with calling that sufficient.
Thank you, I will do as you have mentioned and not be overly concerned with that page.

Hi!
I am so apologetic for not dpling section 15 yet. Speaker issues so I may revert to dpling through my cell phone today, time will tell.

Hello!! I have finished dpl ing section 15. Wallace, I do have edits for you.

1:38-sent to Miss Gilbert while the text is Mrs. Gilbert. You continue to use Miss as opposed to Mrs. throughout this chapter, with Mrs. Gilbert and Mrs. Wilde.
Total of 18 different times. Now how about if we ask the bc what to do here.
Eliza, do those need to be recorded to match the text?

Now onto some other edits, please.
*1:56- I hear "his zeal for discovering the lady of Ontario. Text is Orotorio, please change.
*5:10-I hear " in the drawing", text is "in the dawning.", please change.
*5:48.5-I hear "facing a great renumeration" while the text show "facing a great renunciation", please change.
*10:40- I hear "during the (sounds like Shari?)" text shows "cheery", change please.
*11:36-I hear "and open up our old liese, should be "and open up our old house"
*12:16.7- sounds like the word used is "remonstratated", should be "remonstrated", please change.
*13:45 you say "to the family" while it should be "to the farm", change please.
*14:34-please delete city from " Bozen city to remember", not in the text.
*15:00-Please delete word you spoke, "grimilngly" & record text word "grimly".
*15:19- I hear "intuisian", text is "intuition", please change.
*15:30-I hear "you do it", should be replaced with "I'll do it"
*15:35-I hear "and with such a millingly of tack", should be "and with such a millingly of tack";please change.
*17:34, please delete "neither", it is a duplicate.
*19:34 to 19:39.5 please cut, empty space.
*23:49.5-"repleid" delete please.
*25:48- I hear "exquisite "flimsy" white, text is "filmy white", please change.
*29:36-text is: "asked Doris", I only hear "asked". Please record "Doris" & insert.
*31.35- "I", please delete as it is followed by the same.
*34:36. I hear "and extended a cordial hand to the invalid. The context of that word can be double. When you spoke it the inference was that the person is not valid. I think it is in the pronunciation and should infer the person to be unable due to health issues. It didn't sound like the correct pronunciation to me.
*5 seconds of silence are needed at the end.

I would like to compliment your singing here. To me it was like the singing was taking place in an ocean cave with the echoes bouncing off of stone walls. Cool effect to me, well done!!

Please wait to do the above edits until Eliza answers the question posed to her,
and thank you.

Addendum here:

People who record audio with Lv sometimes just speak lyrics as opposed to singing them, though I still believe you sang well.

The reason I asked you to wait to hear from Eliza is because I know just where the Miss & Mrs mistakes are at, with the original file.

I think the pronunciation of "Miss" instead of "Mrs." is okay. I would pass on making that update, as I think people will understand what is meant and believe it is how some people pronounce Mrs. as I have heard that on books I have PLed.

Of course, welcome to the project! We are so glad to have you. I will add you to the MW as soon as I get your reader page set up. What name would you like to use for your catalogue page, and is there a URL you would like me to add?

Thank you for responding so quickly. I'm okay with the use of S.Reeves for the catalog page and at this time I do not have a URL to use.
