Thank you for section 1! Great job on such a long chapter! I have some notes, but please don't be discouraged by them. Most of them are just about adding a footnote, and there are a few repeats that will be easy to trim out.

Thanks for renaming the file! There's just one more quick change to make to the filename: if you could add an underscore after "01" then you'll be all set: moralityofmarriage_01_caird_128kb. (It may seem like there are a lot of specifications like that to keep track of when you're starting out on LV, but I promise it gets easier the more you record.)

- At 1:28, after "propitiation," could you include the footnote? (p. 21)
- At 6:55, there a repeat of "Remnants of this social condition..." (p. 25)
- At 9:49, after "in the tribe," could you include the footnote? (p. 27)
- At 13:15, after "Saxon land law," could you include the footnote? (p. 29)
- At 16:02, after "innate and aboriginal," could you include the footnote? (p. 31)
- At 17:10, after "dead husband's name," could you include the footnote? (p. 32)
- At 18:29, after "mother-in-law," could you include the footnote? (p. 33)
- At 20:44, after "their action on his life," could you include the footnote? (p. 35)
- At 23:39, there's a repeat of "Gradually, with the altered position of the woman in the family" (p. 36)
- At 27:06, after "patriarchal ancestors," could you include the footnote? (p. 38)
- At 27:56, there's a false start before "There are countries where..." (p. 39)
- At 28:08, after "almost as a god," could you include the footnote? (p. 39)
- At the end of the recording, could you add a little more silence so that there are about 5 seconds total?

By the way, if you work backwards when editing, it will help make it easier for you because it'll keep the time stamp in the same place for the parts you haven't gotten to yet.

Since some of them are pretty long, I think starting them with "Footnote" and ending them with "End of footnote" will help set them off from the main text. Thanks for checking!
