Thanks Prajakta! Sati will let you know if any changes are required.prajak wrote: ↑December 7th, 2021, 2:04 am Hello,
This is the file for Section XXV.
https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/astronomy_25_todd_128kb.mp3
Duration 21:36
I could not avoid the birds' company though I tried different timings, different rooms.
Ibis was prominent at 14th Minute. Please let me know if this is good enough.
I will proceed to next chapter once I get PL OK for this.

I'd first like to mention at 1:08, one word was misread lintels. Then at 15:40 the same line is read twice, "...but must originate...". Please edit them out.
Secondly regarding the bird chirping in the background. I've made one observation after 15:20, the bird's noise is almost negligible. So that time of the day and that room seems like a good time and place to record.
Now the first half of the recording that is before 15:20, has some really fair amount of bird's making all kinds of noises, I didn't know they could make (at 10:33 holy sh that was new to me and one at 12:56 screeeee)
Well, in my opinion since your reading is loud and clear so those noises are not distracting except for at few places. Do you think it would be a good idea to re-record just till 15:20?
I'd love to hear your opinion and if anyone else wants to give some suggestions, you're welcome.
P.S. I am on a website listening to various kinds of bird sounds. Your recording has piqued my curiosity! @Prajakta
If there is ever a book on birds and you happen to record the chapters because I think it might sound really good with the natural background. Don't forget to sign me up

Hello,
This is regarding section 25.
Thanks Sati.
It seems the Ibis Family has chosen my neighbourhood for their nest.
Apart from that Indian Mynas, Parrots, Kites and squirrels(believe me, they make the most annoying screeching sound) are challenging me.
But I would like to rerecord the first 16 minutes.
I would be glad if I get a chance to record some article on birds.
Regards
Prajakta

Thanks Prajakta! I agree, squirrels are very cute but their sound can be extremely annoying at times.prajak wrote: ↑December 9th, 2021, 12:29 am Hello,

In Section 32, there are two minor points to modify.
i) at 00:24, you've said "recording by" instead of "read by"
ii) at 00:36, you've mentioned chapter 32 and section title instead of just mentioning section title and not chapter 32 as it has already been mentioned in the beginning.
