Annise,
I would love to read Sections #31-34 on Psalm 91. This is a favorite passage of Psalms which I have committed to memory. Voicing this passage would give me a greater depth of blessing and understanding which I believe I can communicate to the listener.
I stand ready to serve.
Respectfully submitted,
cjzjr

Thank you for your interest in this project. Due to the challenging nature of the text, I've claimed sections 31 and 32 for you...for now. As soon as you see how you like it, let me know and I'll add the other sections. The MW has been updated.CJZJR wrote: ↑November 30th, 2021, 10:04 am Annise,

Momaxi,
Thank you for this assignment.
In previewing the text of this passage I have the following questions:
1. Do I verbalize the section numbers (1. , 2., etc.) as "One", "Two" or omit them? Do I assume number one is before the first word of the text and add it because it doesn't seem to appear before 2. in the text?
2. Do I ignore all scripture references? Or, Do I add them to only the italicized text portions which are clearly the exact wording of the biblical text and for the passages from which they originate?
3. Do I include biblical source reference before or after the italicized biblical quote of Augustine, adding a brief pause? After would seem most natural if included to me.
4. Do I verbalize "verse references" which appear in the text in parentheses? Ex. "(Ver. 3) following 4.", "(Ver. 4-6) following 5.".
I will begin pre-reading and rehearsing until I receive your preferences on the questions presented above.

You are most welcome! All good questions, and mostly a matter of personal preference. So, speaking only for myself, 1) I do not read the paragraph numbers. 2, 3, and 4) I read only the verse reference numbers within the psalm under discussion. And, I do use a 2-second pause before each time I say "verse #". However, other readers read absolutely everything on the page.
Enjoy!
Peace be with you,
Sister
