Looking over this again, I do have one question that I think a lot of your readers will have as well. Given the structure of this work (treatises, chapters, etc), how do you want the section numbers read? Do you want readers to only use section numbers as listed in the MW, or would you prefer something like "Treastise 3, chapter 4," for example? If I were you, I would edit the first post and add that specific wording in to the intro, or you're likely to get lots of variations and not a lot of consistency. :)

OK, I edited the intro and outro to how I would like it.

I don't suppose there's any reason for us to hang around in the Launch Pad any longer. Off we go to Readers Wanted!

It's a pretty hefty book to do solo. I'm not saying it can't be done, but it would be a major commitment.

I have to say, I am a bit surprised that there hasn't been more interest. I find this topic immensely interesting, but I have barely had any recording time for some time past now.

A minnow, nibbling at the bait.... 🐠

This looks interesting, and I'm tempted.
A couple of questions/thoughts:

It might be more useful for the readers and eventual listeners if the chapters coincided with the recordings, viz. instead of Second Treatise, Chap 9 ending and then the Third Treatise, Chap 1 starting half-way through, it would seem to be more logical for each new Treatise to begin on its own right. That way if a listener were interested in certain subject, it would be easy to access, without having to find its beginning in another recording.

What about parenthetical citations? Some are Scripture verses, others refer to now-obscure texts.

Definitely applaud your beginnings on this project. Good show, you!

Hi there,
thanks for the suggestions. That probably would be better to start each new treatise with a new section. I can update the MW to fix that.
What do you mean by parenthetical citations? Do you mean citing where the quotations are from? If so, I haven't been doing that in my recordings for this project, because I feel like some people wouldn't know what they stand for and just say it how it looks in the text.
Do you want to read a section or two? Happy to have you! :D
thanks,

Hi, Amadeus Jr., ;)

I would be happy to take on Treatise 5, Sections 1, 2, and 3; will wait until you've updated/reorganized the section numbers.

And yes, I agree: leaving off the citations (Scripture reference or other material appearing in parentheses) will make the material much easier to read and for the listeners to comprehend.

best,
Owlivia/Deborah

MW updated.
So, just to clarify, you want sections 34, 35, and 36 on the MW, or Chapter 1, 2, and 3, of Treatise five, which is section 34 and 35 on the MW?

I think I will start with just section 34 and see how it flows, please. 🌼
