We would be honored. :)

Here's section 10
https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/cambridgemodernhistory3_10_various_128kb.mp3 duration 32:15
a bit of trivia
The Tartar raid mentioned towards the end was bitterly portrayed against the background of Poland's anarchy and internal squabbling by the contemporary poet Jan Kochanowski. I remember reading the piece in school.

Thank you, Piotrek! I had forgotten that the Tartars had gotten as far as Poland so late in the game. Perhaps you will read this poem for our multilingual collection?

Thank you! I'll put out a call for substitute PLs again. Could you tell me the duration of this recording?

PL Notes for Section 49:
This section sounded great! However, I noted a few instances where some (not all) of the contents in parentheses were not read aloud. I wasn't sure of the protocol, so I thought I would include them for reference.

4:54 (Caraffa) missing, pdf pg 507
8:57 (April 2, 1559) missing, pdf pg 508
12:44 (1490) missing, pdf pg 509
14:58 -15:05 (Medici), (Farnese), (Caraffa), (1557) missing, pdf pg 510
23:42 (Vallaloid, October 18, 1559) missing, pdf pg 513
25:02 "...for he was a Spaniard born...", repeated phrase
26:16 (June, 1559) missing, pdg pg 513

Thanks,

Thanks for PLing! Yes, normally all the parentheticals should be read. Exceptions can be made for particularly unreadable bibliographical references, but I don't believe we have any of those in this book.
