Thank you for this Tom! A very haunting reading!
Only human voices allowed though. Could you remove the sound effects at the end? The slight echo is fine, just the tram sounds. Thank you!

I have tried to be super thorough with tech specs and instructions as a first time reader. I welcome feedback and suggestions.
edit: after further consideration librivox username, TheLiberPater, for the catalogue is preferred with no publicly listed web url at this time.
Thanks so much.

Thank you for your recording! Your tech specs are indeed fine, except that the volume is soft. It would need about 10 dB amplification, and for your future recordings you could check if you can increase your microphone's input volume a bit.
Also note that the filename should end with _128kb (this has lb).
Let me know if you'd like more instructions on amplifying, or when ready, just upload again with the correct filename.
It's great to have you here!

Thank you kindly for the feedback. I did notice earlier when checking for response that I made that typo in the file name. I chose this poem as it was one of my favorites in school, and I was pretty surprised I couldn't locate another version in the database along with other Crane works.
Digression aside, I will work out how to do the amplification (I find I learn more about new tech if I try and figure it out myself, but I will check the boards if I get stuck and use the program this time. I was thinking, if anything, it was too loud somehow. I'm ALWAYS too loud... ) I will re-upload after remedying those errors! Am I good to begin contributing to other projects provided these are fixed?
Thanks again! It's great to be here finally posting after having joined...yeesh...4 years ago! Here's to making up for lost time.

Another source of info and help is the Wiki: https://wiki.librivox.org/
Yes, you can move on to further recordings, once you have this one marked "PL OK", so that you have something to reference if Book Coordinators suggest you do a test recording first.
Here's your Reader Page: https://librivox.org/reader/16806 which you can also access from your name-link in the Magic Windows. It lists the projects you read for, and can also help you keep track of sections in ongoing projects under the "Reader section details" link.

I amplified it by 10 db, I think... (I went to effects, amplify and slid the bar thing to about 9.9 and said "ok.") Thank you for your time and assistance! I will keep at it and try and get better. I'm not terribly happy with it but if I don't allow room for growth I'll never post anything.
