And, no better way than listening to one of your fine recordings. Always a pleasure!

I think only Boreham could make the journey from dominoes to the cross!

Glad to mark this PL OK

Larry,

I knew I would be back. How about Section 6 "When My Ship Comes Home"?

Thanks,

Wayne

That looked like a good one from my skimming of it. I almost assigned it to myself, in fact. It's yours, Wayne!

Before even recording Section 6, may I also claim, in honor of my left-handed daughter and grandson, Section 24 "On Being Left-handed"?

Thanks,

Wayne

Hi there,

Well, here is Section 6:

https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/silvershadow_06_boreham_128kb.mp3

Time: 21:47

A couple of personal notes: At one time (a loooonnnngggg time ago), I lived in Ramsgate, and I have been to Tunbridge Wells and it is about 25 miles from there to Hastings, which is right on the sea. That would have had to been a very, very high hill. :D

This will all make sense later.

Hi Devorah,

May I read Section 13 (Pt 2, Ch 6: Growing-Pains) and Section 22 (Pt 3, Ch 5: Sister Kathleen)?

Thanks,
Yolanda

I've been a bit delayed in getting my recordings completed, but I'd like to claim
Section 7, Comrades of the Night
and
Section 11, Comrades

Hello! I'm fairly new. I just completed my first LibriVox recording for Kitty. If they're still available, I'd be happy to take on:

Pt 2, Ch 8: The Extra Cubit
Pt 2, Ch 10: The Convalescent

Cheers,

Larry,

Here is section 24:

Those times (and he) certainly had different ideas about why people were left-handed. I know neither my daughter nor grandson has/had an injured right hand. :hmm: Also, as you may know, that there is an almost fool-proof way to tell if a very young child is going to be right-handed or left-handed. It is, of course, hard to tell in the very few years of life which a child will be, but when a young child is playing, kicking a ball, the foot with which they kick the ball, in the vast, vast majority of times, will tell which will be their dominant hand. Trivia for the day.
