Hi, here are my fixes for section 90 (now 4:55): https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/storyofgreece_090_macgregor_128kb.mp3
and section 91 (now 5:14): https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/storyofcreece_091_macgregor_128kb.mp3

Thank you,
CadenB
Section 90 is PL OK.

Section 91 is still the original file. Could you please try uploading that one again.

Thanks,

M

Hi, super sorry about that, I don't know how I screwed that up lol! Here's the actual edited version of 91 (5:12): https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/storyofcreece_091_macgregor_128kb.mp3
All is fine except the filename. There is a typo in it. Should be "storyofgreece" not "storyofcreece".

Thanks,

M

Well read but unfortunately the order of two tiny words got switched which completely inverts what the sentence says.

At about 7:47 the text reads "who would come to offer for it a ransom". You have "it for a ransom".

Language is fascinating that the order of "for it/it for" gives opposite meanings.

Thanks,

M
Here it is again;

So right about the word order!
Kerry
Good job with the fix. PL OK!

Thanks,

M

The volume needs to be increased so that it falls between 86 and 92 dB.

There is a high level of background noise. It wouldn't hurt to run the Noise Reduction to reduce it.

At 0:27 and 0:48, it sounds like "the Lithians" instead of "the Ionians".

At about 1:26 after "to await his return," the following text is missing, "after the sixty days had passed, and he bade him ask for whatever he wished".

At about 2:10, there is a stumble in "and do his will by night and by day".

At about 3:27, there is an extra long silence, please shorten it by at least 3 seconds so that it is closer in length to your other breaks.

At about 3:39, the text reads "Artaphernes", not "Aristophanes".

Please add about 3 seconds of silence at the end so that it is about 5 seconds in length.

Please remove a "0" in the filename. It should be "storyofgreece_036_macgregor_128kb".

Thanks,

M

I'd like to do sections 72, 73, 74, 75 if possible.

Thanks!

Edit: I'm from Australia, and it looks like I fall into the death + 70 years, so please ignore the below. Sorry about that.

Hi,
Can I do section 81, The Seven Conspirators?
Depending on how I go with a chapter (I've only done the weekly and fortnightly short poem a few times) I might be able to do a couple more, but we'll see how I go with this much :)
This looks like a fun project, I'm looking forward to hearing the end result!
Cheers.
