Sure. 14 is yours.
Sorry about that! Here's the new link:philchenevert wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2021, 4:17 pm Thank you Vonna. I will ask you to export the file again with the correct file name as shown in the first post of this project so it will line up properly when we catalog this book.
"Filename: oldfashionedfairytales_##_ewing_128kb.mp3 where ## is the section number. (e.g. oldfashionedfairytales_01_ewing_128kb.mp3)" So your file should be oldfashionedfairytales_10_ewing_128kb.mp3

I'm so glad someone likes to do them ! They completely befuddle me. Six is yours.
I'm a fan of anything Celtic. I did 2 semesters of Irish Gaelic at university, so that came in handy for some pronunciations here. The rest is impersonations of Scottish actors I like to listen to I hope it's still understandable to our DPL, who is probably better at this than myself. I had fun doing it at least.philchenevert wrote: ↑August 3rd, 2021, 6:29 amI'm so glad someone likes to do them ! They completely befuddle me.
Here's the story, the typical catch of the three wishes.

WOW That was brilliant, Sonia. Thank you for such an enjoyable reading!
Section 06 is PL OK.
(I'm afraid all I can say in Irish is Slainte and Craic. BTW, I'm a Chilean living in Ireland and absolutely love it!)

I made a stab at UNDER THE SUN, Section #19. I know I should have requested it first, but I was feeling shy about it being my first time.

It's my first recording, so I welcome feedback and would be happy to either re-record it, or surrender it to another reader if someone else can do it more justice.

Hi and welcome to LibriVox and this project. First of all, let me say that your 1 minute test is fine and you have the big OK to record lots and lots. And yes, the proper procedure is indeed to request a section before recording it because by the time the Book Coordinator sees it, there may be another request before yours. In this case it is fine. I will put your recording into the magic window for proof listening. Another question is how would you like to be credited in our catalog? What name? Many of us use our real names so that people can find us but it can be anything; just let me know.Arialvetica wrote: ↑August 3rd, 2021, 2:49 pm I made a stab at UNDER THE SUN, Section #19.
