That was a depressing story.

You did a very nice job with your reading. It is of good quality. I just have a few comments to make.

Your volume is too low. It needs to be between 86 and 92 dB. I recommend raising it between 5 and 6 dB

At 0:34, please insert "EX-SLAVE - MY FATHER WHO KNEW THE PRINCIPLE CHARACTERS TOLD ME THIS STORY YEARS AGO" after "Dave Lawson".

At 2:34, the text reads "He owned lan' 'cross", where "lan" is short for "Land" not "Ian". I can understand how you missed that as it isn't the easiest thing to catch.

I like that Catharine Williams, she sounds like she was quite a character.

You did another excellent job with the recording.

The only thing that needs to be addressed is the length of the silence at the end. Please delete close to 2 seconds to get it to around 5 seconds.
