Kevin, you can’t correct the file name without access to the server. Leave it as is for now and I will sort it out

Hi. I'd to contribute a chapter from "Flying the Atlantic in 16 hours".

It's about the first successful non stop flight from America to Ireland in 1919. Chapter 7 is about their arrival. It works pretty well by itself.

Cheers,

Harley.

I found a very fitting French poem which I recorded for this collection. The author wrote these lines for the 16th birthday of his son who left the house to start life. But the words at the end could also be a good motto for LV: Courage, Faith, Honour, Freedom, Love of Progress and Humanity ! :9:

Title: Seize Ans
Author: Félix Milliet (1811-1888) (new author, couldn't find him on English wiki, so here is the French wiki page: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C3%A9lix_Milliet
Text source: https://archive.org/details/s12cahiersdelaqui04pg/page/n69/mode/2up
https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/16th_seizeans_milliet_ss_128kb.mp3
Recording time: 1:59 min.

Sixteen Months, by Carl Sandburg. I used the Google Books link, https://books.google.com/books?id=K1FbAAAAMAAJ&pg=PA58 , but I think it's the same text as the link given above.

https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/16th_sixteen_months_sandburg_des_128kb.mp3 1:03 runtime.

Google text links are unreliable. Is the same story on Gutenberg, Hathi or archive?

I'd like to make a double contribution, a poem in French and its English translation.

I think I shall read:
Sixteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, Historical Background.
I may also include the Definition of Income.
Text here:
https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/amdt16-1/ALDE_00000999/

I will get it to you well before the deadline.

Section 8 "Revival of Preaching in the Sixteenth Century" is PL OK. :)
