Shen of the Sea: A Book for Children, by Arthur Bowie Chrisman (1889 - 1953)

This book was awarded the John Newbery Medal by the Children’s Librarians’ Section of the American Library Association, for the most distinguished contribution to American Children’s literature during the year 1925. it is a collection of stories for children from China. (Summary by phil chenevert)

If it's not too early for claims, could I read "As Hai Low Kept House"? That was a favorite story of mine when I was a kid...
