Terrariums is PL OK. It was quite interesting! I bet there are more good stories in that book. I'll have a look.

Hello Michele,

The speaker in this poem is really enjoying lounging about in a bower and sniffing the roses, lucky fellow. I guess that means a successful garden! I hope whether you have a rock garden, a desert garden, a bower of your own or something else, if you're lucky enough to have a garden during the pandemic that you've been enjoying it to the full!

Dolce Far Niente by Gustav Pfizer (1807-1890)

I don't know that the author is in the catalogue, but his wiki page is here:

For some reason I can't add your name to the MW, altho you are in our catalog with many projects. Maybe Lynne can help me add it. I've been having a few computer problems lately.

Meditations upon a Garden is PL OK. Thanks so much for this unique contribution, so full of metaphors comparing man's soul condition with that of plants. My goodness, what contrariness!

I thirst for thirstiness, I weep for tears.
Well pleas'd I am to be displeased thus:
The only thing I fear, is want of fears,
Suspecting I am not suspicious.
