Great poem and well read. Thank you, and welcome to the project. However, I found several issues with this submission that must be fixed before it can be OK'd.
Link issue: I found a better link to your text which specifies the year of publication as 1918, thus it is clearly PD. Many of Sandburg's poems are not yet available for LV to read.

Also there are several technical issues for you to clean up (usually this is done during 1-Minute Test process -- described in your welcome Letter -- before you submit anything to a project, but here we are):
The volume, at 93.2, falls outside LV's target range (86–92 dB). I recommend de-amplifying. In Audacity grab your whole file then go Effect/Amplify/-3.5
Background noise is considerable.
I recommend you apply a bit of Noise Reduction to your file. In Audacity, I would select about 4 seconds of silence from the end of each file, go Effects/Noise Reduction/Get Noise Profile. Then select the entire file, go Effect/Noise Reduction/set settings to 12, 6, 3, Reduce/OK. This should cut down the hissy background noise by about half, without affecting your voice quality. NOTE: Different people use different settings, so feel free to experiment, and beware that if you do additional passes it might begin to affect the quality. You want some background noise, but not too much. I apply NR to all my files, being as I record where the interstate highway noise a mile away is constant 24/7.
The bit rate should be 128 kbps.
The recording should use a constant bit rate rather than variable bit rate (VBR).
These are set when you save your file as an .mp3 Make the proper selections to the pop up window at that time, and your program will remember those settings until you change them.
When you have made these changes, reupload using the same file name, and post here. I'll check it again and hopefully all will pass the Checker process.
