An interesting story, I think...

The Brown Mouse By
Edward Parrish Ware

Absinthe is, apparently, scary stuff. Never tried it. Have no desire to.
Thanks
Dale
Thank you Dale! Tryst, Shadows and the Man who Dared are all now PL ok!

For Brown Mouse - a couple of PL notes:
00.30 - I hear cautious for conscious
7.49 - I hear hand knots for hard knots

I have also tried Absinthe, but the modern version no longer contains wormwood, which was the hallucinogen.
I can confirm that it is horrid, and in the absence of wormwood, comes devoid of the 'spiritual elevation' your protagonist 'enjoys'.

[Whoops, was working across different tabs and meant to post this and the other as one, but two posts it is!]

Hi:

Brown Mouse is reloaded

https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/ghohor051_brownmouse_ware_dg_128kb.mp3

Thanks. My script had "hand" instead of "hard". Being a good announcer, I just read what it said, not thinking about it.

Thanks

Dale and Chad - you are both now PL ok, thanks for making those edits!

Kevin - welcome to the horror collection! Thanks for your recording. Rapunzelina who's our BC will add it to the magic window soon and I'll PL sometime this week.

Thanks Kevin! This is PL ok - really enjoyed your dramatisation, and what a great story!

Everyone still awaiting PL - apologies for taking a few days, has been a busier week at work than expected. Thanks for your patience!
