yes thank you, Brittany, for all the lovely narratives. I can mark them all PL ok now. The ending silence should be 5 seconds, but as long as it stays in between 4.5 and 5.5 it's ok, we are not that picky Also careful with the volume which should stay inside 86 and 92 dB. Your section 37 is a tiny bit under 86, but I guess for once it's negligible, it can get equalized later in the cataloguing. But usually it would be better to try and stay closer to the average of 89 dB.bbogle wrote: ↑April 7th, 2021, 12:33 pmhttps://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/worldstory15_38_dresser_128kb.mp3 8:36

Here is Section 37 and 38. I think I fixed what I was supposed to, but let me know if it is not correct!

hello Atelo and welcome to the World Story project. I see you already passed your minute test, so you can start right away. Section 12 is reserved for you. For details about intro/outro/title/footnotes etc, please read carefully through the first two posts. There are some special rules for this project.
and a warm welcome to our forum, Matt
sorry for the delay in feedback, but I listened to your chapter just now and it is perfectly PL ok Checker helps tremendously assessing the volume, I use it on all my files. You are perfectly in the limits now. I couldn't comment on the Chinese pronunciation, but it sounds good to me and as long as it's understandable, it will do.bbogle wrote: ↑April 9th, 2021, 1:20 pm https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/worldstory15_41_dresser_128kb.mp3 12:30
Here is Section 41. I made sure to use the Checker for the volume! This section was a bit challenging with all of the Chinese names!
yes I understand that the flame would tend to go upwards, opposed to how a waterthrower would work. I still wouldn't want to be in the line of the nozzle excellent narration again Availle, and PL okAvaille wrote: ↑April 9th, 2021, 3:41 pm Here's section 20 about the flamethrowers: 2:27

Quite interesting, actually: stay low! I wonder if this is still the case with modern ones...
