Hello Michele,

I have two for the collection. Both are already in the catalogue (in German) so you shouldn't have to add that info, but I wanted to do English translations so more people can hear them!

Spring Song by Ludwig Christoph Heinrich Hölty (1748–1776)

Duration: 1.20

Spring Evening by Friedrich von Matthisson (1761–1831)

Duration: 1.43

Hi Michele,

I've come across an unexpected final entry from an author who doesn't have much in the catalogue, and a translator who I don't *think* has very much or even anything recorded. I couldn't resist!

I hope your spring is off to a good start!

In April by Emanuel Geibel (1815-1884)

Signs of Spring is PL OK. Thank you Randall. Mr. Kirkham is quite the observer, and "Intimate Studies" is a great title for his book!

The Red Bud Tree is PL OK. Thank you, Tally. Yes, I like it! What an interesting way for the king (or any teacher) to call his sons' attention to the wheel of the seasons, and make them all better observers.

Spring In Town is PL OK. Ahhh, thank you, Fritz. Dunsany never fails to infuse some mystery, some magic into whatever he writes. Love this line: "the throne of Winter tottered".

The Snowdrop] is PL OK. What is it like to be a flower trapped in the earth, come to life in spring? Why, just like this story!

PL Notes Mother Nature's House Cleaning
1:57 "washing the floors of the world", you said from the world

That's your three for this collection, Tally. Thank you. In future collections, be sure to include the name of your story, and up your volume a wee bit closer to 89dB. This one just squeaks within range at 86.7.

Here's the updated version. I am so sorry about forgetting the title. I have no idea what happened there!
I played with the sound, but Annie's always complaining that I'm so soft on the recordings that amplifying it too much might be problematic...
