In February I recorded two chapters of "The History Of the Telephone" by Herbert Casson Jr. If nobody has offered to record any other chapters, I would be glad to do another. I am a retired telecom technician so this subject interests me. I will await a response before proceeding.

Hi Randy, Your first two chapters of the History of the Telephone have been cataloged in Vol. 080 of the Short Nonfiction Collection: https://librivox.org/short-nonfiction-collection-vol-080-by-various/. And Vol. 080 has already been viewed 19,429 times, according to the count kept by The Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/snf080_2102_librivox! :D So, I'd say your recordings are finding an audience. We'd be happy to have another chapter from the History of the Telephone for vol. 081!

Hi RLohner, Welcome to the Short Nonfiction Collection (SNF)! :D Thank you for this selection from Alexander Hamilton's writings. The SNF has a dedicated proof listener, Craig, who, next, will PL your selection for you. You read very clearly. However, the volume of this recording is a little low. It should be within 86-92 dB. It's a good idea to check your recordings with the LibriVox "Checker app" which looks for common problems associated with LibriVox recordings. https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker.

Your idea for more readings from Alexander Hamilton is great, and shorter pieces (under 74 minutes reading time) will always be welcome at the SNF!

Thanks for the interesting article about job seeking in 1797 Ryan
Well read.
I decided to use this link because I couldn't get the system to accept the link you provided.
https://archive.org/details/observationsonce00hami/page/n15/mode/2up

a few errors noted:

2:39 periodical pamphlets issue from the same presses, full freighted with misrepresentation and falshood, artfully calculated to hold up the opponents of the Faction to the jealousy and distrust of the pre- sent generation and if possible, you said artificially

49:51 Moreover, atrocious as his conduct had been towards me, -- you said moreever – sounded strange
Later in the same sentence - for retracting the indulgence, which was shewn by withdrawing the prosecution and for recommencing it ? you said recommending it

Thanks for another great chapter in the creation of Bell Telephone Randy

Well read.

A few errors noted.

22:31 It took action quickly and organized the "American Speaking-Tele- phone Company," with $300,000 capital, - you said 800,000

35:52 Especially in the largest cities, where the Western Union had most power, the lives of the telephone pioneers were packed with hardships and adventures. You said western cities
