Volume 9 is open here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=86907 and any additional submissions should be posted there.

Our hard working BC Lynette has been extremely stretched with some Real Life stuff lately, but she's working her way back and will get caught up soon on both Collection 8 and 9.

Thanks for your patience.

Hey there :)

We're going to need to move this one to Collection 9 - but I want to make sure this was meant for Myths and Legends Around the World? (I see the msw029 portion of the file name, and it looks like you might have meant it for another collection?)

Hi, AyeChanMay8 -

This looks like another great recording! Two things:

Seeing the msw029_ portion of the file name makes me wonder if you meant this for a different collection? This collection's file name has mlaw000_ (whichever is the current number) in that part. Did you actually mean this recording to be in the Myths and Legends Around the World?

Assuming that is what you did intend, this Collection 8 was already full before you submitted the recording for The Vigil of Mah May. Collection 9 is the current open collection.

However, you already have two files for Collection 9, and as the main post for these collections explains, readers are limited to two files per collection number.

So. . . If you did want this story for Myths and Legends Around the World, it will need to be held onto and submitted in Collection 10 when it opens up. (That one is not running just yet. I would expect to see it created in 1-4 weeks.)

I'd love to see your story there, so if I can be of help for you to know when that collection is open, just let me know. :)

Ack, yes!!

I've edited it in the main post, but here it is also:

This collection is dedicated to recordings of short mythical or legendary works which are in the Public Domain. The stories tell of legends, heroes, myths, and ancient lore from many different cultures.

Thank you. Will it be the same for 9?

And you might approach it this way ... when you fill in the new project template, use the final description. Then replace it with your instructions in the first post only. That way, what's in the catalog record is right (if it's the same for each collection) and doesn't have to be changed when the project ends.

Oh, thanks for letting me we can "trick" the set-up that way! I'll do that. (Yes, it'll be the same for collection 9)
