The only edit needed is to bring the volume down a bit into the decibel parameters LibriVox has to use. Right not it comes in at 93.8 dB. It's an easy fix.
I'm only familiar with the Audacity software. If that's what you're using, here's how to fix the decibels:Now you can re-export the file to mp3 and upload the new file the same way you did the first time. Don't forget to post again.
- Open the recording
- Click Control-A to select the entire track
- From the Effects drop-down menu, select Amplify
- Type -1.5 in the top box (ignore everything else)
- Click OK

Et voilà!
Hi, Maddie - ending with only the name of the story itself is absolutely fine. You won't need to include the source book's title.maddieruth58 wrote: ↑January 17th, 2021, 10:14 amAt the end, though, should I say "End of The Mysterious Servant: The Story of a Young Man Who Respected the Dead by Parker Fillmore," or should I repeat the title of the larger work? I appreciate the guidance!
