Notes: This short story seems to be written in the style of a children's story, however, it is listed on Gutenberg as belonging to "Horror tales". If you believe this needs to be moved to another project, please let me know!
Only one PL note - the disclaimer at the start should have the title and the author at the beginning of the 'this is a librivox recording...' as well as after. So full intro should be:
"[Story title] by [Author name]. - This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
If you wish, say:
"Recording by [your name], [adding if you wish: location / date]"
Say:
"[Story title] by [Author name]."
If you could add that in to the beginning, re-upload, and post here once you're done, that would be great!
Thanks Tsinaymel - PL ok once again!Tsinaymel wrote: ↑December 16th, 2020, 10:14 pmGreetings!

I'd never considered checking my decor matched my complexion

Apols for one post on top of another but this is a bit of a complex one...
Pleased I managed to get one done for this collection before it ran away! And it's set on Christmas Eve as well
A couple of questions on this one though...
I couldn't see the author, Katherine Rickford, on the LV catalogue, but I also couldn't find much out about her online... I found a couple of mentions where people had said they couldn't find any biographical information (which makes me wonder if it's a pseudonym anyways).
This all means I don't have a death date for her, which could through the copyright into confusion as I'm UK based? I'm guessing the absence of her on the cat might not be a good sign!
In the hopes that it's A-ok...

If it's not I'll go on a deeper hunt sometime...

The absence of her from the catalogue just means that nobody has offered a recording of her work until now. I didn't find any dates either, but she appears to have been active quite early, so in all probability she is PD in death+70 countries, too.
Thank you for proof-listening!

Well!
Mayhap this the quickest GhoHor yet.
I have to catch up on my solos, so...
...y'all have to muddle through this collection without being graced by my presence.
And here's to a much better New Year, one and all!
