thank you, Jim. Another interesting section. A lot happening in the history of Germany at those times

I found a few small things to correct, mainly on page 305. This page seems to have been tricky.

> at 5:02: (p. 301) "these fortunate marriages" – you say "unfortunate" (well...maybe some of the spouses would have agreed with you  )

> at 14:23: (p. 303) "1531, February 6th" – you could include the full date at this spot and then delete it at 14:33

> at 18:50: (p. 305) "1544, September 18th" - also here, you can include the month in the beginning and cut it at 18:56

> at 20:25: (p. 305) "John Frederic of Saxony reconquered" – there is a stumble before the last word, I hear "could we" :hmm:

> at 20:30: (p. 305) "Charles V" - you say "the first"

> at 21:40: (p. 305) the dates are a bit tricky here, I would suggest: ""armed himself against Charles V, and, in 1552, surprised the emperor..."

> at 21:53: (p. 305) Convention of Passau, 1552, August 2nd" – would put the month at this spot and delete it at 22:01

> at 21:55: (p. 305) repeat "free exercice of religion for the" – "for" can get cut once

thanks

Hi Sonia,

As my deadline is approaching, could I have an extension on my sections? I hope to record them before long.

 not THAT fierce surely ! The thought. And I think it's supposed to represent a cross, not a dagger :hmm: Well...mystery solved

wow another huge section, thank you Colleen. Perfectly narrated again, nothing missing and every date in their place. Straight PL ok. I find it extremely interesting that the "modern history" is so meticulously written down, compared to the less precise overview of earlier history. I was hooked by the constant mention of Boulanger  he seems to have been an important figure for French history. I was almost disappointent when it all ended in suicide.

Thanks

and thank you as well, Jim. Intrigues and arranged political marriages in France. Quite an interesting history as well. Most of it flawlessly narrated, but I found two bits that need correcting:

> at 0:47: (p. 318) "house of Valois, since 1328" – you forgot the date in brackets

> at 5:40: (p. 320) you missed 4 lines between the two genealogical tables here. Starting with "Henry's mistress, Diana of Poitiers..." and ending with "the French crown." After that you would also need to say: "Descent of Brittany, see genealogical table p. 320"

thanks, and sorry to postpone PLing your section 65 to tomorrow, but I need a break now and some food and this evening I won't have time to PL. Tomorrow first thing then 8-)
