  1. Is there a deadline?
We ask that you submit your recorded sections within 1-2 months of placing your claim. Please note that to be fair to the readers who have completed their sections in a timely way, if you haven't submitted your recording(s) after two months, your sections will automatically be re-opened for other readers to claim, unless you post in this thread to request an extension. Extensions will be granted at the discretion of the Book Coordinator. If you cannot do your section, for whatever reason, just let me know and it'll go back to the pool. There's no shame in this; we're all volunteers and things happen. Please do not sign up for more sections than you can complete within the two month deadline.
    .
  2. How to claim a part, and "how it all works" here
To find a section to record, simply look at point 5. below at the sections. All the ones without names beside them are "up for grabs." Click "Post reply" at the top left of the screen and tell us which section you would like to read (include the section number from the left-most column in the reader list, please). Read points 6. to 8. below for what to do before, during and after your recording.

Okay, I've done the best I can with a somewhat amorphous project.

The final project will be made up of 4 sections made up of a number of voices and readings and spoken hymns. I will be quite specific once the MW is set-up, with links to a script for each section (each Sunday.)

I will do the initial PL, but will need a volunteer for the final DPL of the four sections once constructed. The final DPL would include listening not only to the overall construction, but my readings, too. (I'll probably do three of them.)

Readers are invited to read as many as three sections each, unless we have a call for volunteers to do more at a later time (which would be announced, of course.)

Here is a link to the background of this project's conception: viewtopic.php?p=1802675#p1802675

Kevin,
I'd be happy to MC this for you, and read a couple of sections. Just assign me something when the MW is set up.

MaryAnn, I hope you don't mind, but I added four more sections. I was going to read all the opening hymns myself, but I think I should give those interested more choices.

I have to vote soon, so I won't have the scripts ready until this afternoon.

People are free to claim sections, but, folks, please don't record anything yet as we are using specific texts.

Hi Kevin
I don't know if you want any hymns sung, but I love singing hymns.
I would like to do hymns 24 54 and 55 ( that's sections 6 9 and 13)

To keep things simple, I think it best to stay with spoken hymns. I should like to cook up something at another time for your singing!

As a side note, this project is a kind of practice for a full on CofE Nine Lessons and Carols to be done some day, with song.
Sunday is a good PL day for me.

I would still like to read a couple of hymns if you are not doing them yourself. I don't mind which ones.

Oh, thank you! I'll assign Sections 6 and 9 to you. You have your choice, so please let me know if you have a preference.

Here you go. I wasn't certain about the intro. Please let me know if this is right.

Thanks! I'll have a listen, but the script is not ready. Essentially, your reading the hymn will be fine---there is no intro or outro needed as I will do that---but I hope you added "Read by [your name.]
