Love Stories Volume 4 by various ( - Lt).

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/love-stories-volume-4-by-various/
Here are 20 more love stories under an hour each, offered by Librivox volunteers, covering all kinds of experiences involving romance or other kinds of love resulting in heartbreak or happiness -- where the heart overflows with passion, pride, emotion or wonder. You know -- love. ( ~ Michele Fry)

  2. New to recording? Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!
  3. Once your story is submitted, please be on the lookout for your Proof Listeners notes, which if changes are required must be attended to for your story to be included in the catalog.
If this is your first recording, please let me know under which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. We can also link to a personal website/blog.[/b]

Level of prooflistening: special (I will follow along with the text and notate significant discrepancies)
Please read the Listeners Wanted FAQ for the various levels used!

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

PL Notes on A Dog's Tale.
What a sad, sad story. Not a typical Twain tale but yes it is a love story, too.
One thing strikes me kind of strange, that chuckle at 22:57. Up to you, just let me know your plans.

Thanks for contributing. Would you please PL mine?

A Humble Romance, Section 2.

Dag nabbit!
I kept listening for a hitch or skip in your recitation.... and heard nary a one.
This is a perfect recitation, Michele.
A good story and a great delivery of that story.

Wow!

In summary: This section is PL OK!

Thanks for saying that. I truly loved this unusual story. I've only made one comment on your Dog's Tale, waiting for your reply. Entries are coming in very slowly right now, I suspect it's because of the politics, busy holidays, and Covid worries. I'm trying to find enthusiasm myself for anything but nail biting.

Please let the chuckle stay: it was inadvertent but clearly(?) the desire of the author to elicit such a response.

Here is a story that I hope you haven't done before:

Anzia Yezierska has only one story so far in LV, so this will be a nice addition. I look forward to listening.
