That's not the issue. It's more a case that in, say, 5 years' time, someone might have removed the document. On gutenberg, hathi or some other reputable sites (e.g. universities), the links are good basically forever. On Google Drive, it was uploaded by an individual, who may disable the link at any time.

Perhaps the clearest course is to withdraw this story and replace it with something else, until I can find another source. This is the problem with looking for obscure stories.
