Section 17 PL OK!

He opposes government enforcing its will by force, does he? Not in the '30s and '40s, he didn't...

Hello, I'd like to take sections 58 and 68 please (feel free to tell me if you believe that these sections are too long to be picked together). Since this is my first recording, I have to tell you I'd like to appear simply as Riccardo La Placa.
Do you have any preferences for the way the titles to the subsections and the notes between parentheses should be recorded?

Yay! Good to have you on board. 8-) I'm okay with you signing up for these two sections together, as long as you think you can complete them in 2 months.

The subsection titles: just a little pause to note the change of subject, then read the subtitle. With the comments in parentheses, a slight pause also. Basically, try to show by your voice that it's separate from the speech itself. If you are being really strong and speaking like an orator in the speech portions, make the titles and comments more plain. If you are making the whole speech plain, then the pauses are about the only tool you have. ;)

Perfect, thank you very much! I'll try to deliver the first in less than three weeks, so that I can be sure that I'll be able to do the other one in around the same time. Have a nice sunday ;)

Thanks!

1:13-1:17 - longish pause, turns out you're missing about half the intro. Ends at "moral collapse", missing this:
which took place in the Army, due to the evil influences of blackmail and neutralist Parliamentarianism at work in the country. The salient feature of this meeting was the leaving of the hall by the generals representing the "Corpo d'Armata" and the Ministry of War. But it was entirely owing to this meeting of exasperated patriots that the general policy of the then Prime Minister ceased to be lenient to the enemy's sympathisers and that active resistance paved the way to the victory of the country in arms.
