heyho,

the word citizen was one of the words, i learned with the help of my pl work to pronounce correctly.
i learned it in school for sure, but spoke it wrong my whole life.
it is really a case, where i learned here on librivox. listening to others, reading along, concetrating on the words...librivox helps learning languages!
and it is the first case, after i changed my signature - thank you for your hint, tricia!
i hope to remember it in further readings, after correcting it here.

i corrected:
3:39,5-3:42,5 disturbance
3:56,5-4:00 citizen
4:26,5-4:28 citizen
5:16-5:17,5 proceff to process

recording ready for spot pl: https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/mussolinispeeches_34_mussolini_128kb.mp3
Track Length
8:43,76 (m:ss.ss)

thx :D

cheers,

/reader/12275
cc welcome! my skills improve from pl notes that cite when my english pronunciation is way off, or when words are missing.

Even though it's been more than 2 months since I claimed my pieces, I'd like to reiterate my interest in completing my unfinished sections.

Thanks! Some corrections to make:

3:41 - "d'Annunzio will not move..." repeated at 3:46 (cut out 3:41-3:46)

About 1 second of silence at the very end; needs 5 total.

Bit rate is variable. Please export to 128kbps constant. Picture shows how:

Please upload with the same filename, and post the new run time. :)

Thanks! Bit rate is now correct and the repeat is removed. The volume dropped down really low, though. Can you amplify it by about 6 dB?

Welcome! I'll pencil you in.

How would you like to be credited in the catalog? There are places for a catalog name (some use a nickname or forum name, some their real name) and a link to a personal web site or blog, if you have one. I recommend using whatever name you say (if any) when you say, "recorded by [your name]" as that's how listeners will look for you. (Keep in mind that prospective employers, classmates, enemies, etc. can also find you using the catalog name, so be cautious if privacy might be an issue.)

We do STRONGLY encourage a one-minute test (LINK) to check your technical settings. It's not an audition, but to make sure you're exporting at the correct bit rate, have your recording in mono, etc.
Please do that before starting in on the sections. :)
