Hello all,

I'm interested in 34, but not confident of reading the french preface. Is there a french-speaker who would read the preface to 34 for me?

Best Regards,
Adrian
I always get frustrated when there's a passage I don't know how to read. You may be aware of this, but if you post this request in the French pronunciation thread there may be someone who is willing to either do a slow motion recording of it for you to copy or record the passage for you to insert. Let me know if I should put you down for the section.
Thanks for the suggestion. Don't put me down for it yet. I'll have an enquiry with the thread you mention.
Kitty tells me that Dorothy L Sayers is not PD in Europe, so I won't be asking for this section, sorry.

Hello Lymiewithpurpose,

After I discovered I couldn't read 34 for copyright reasons, I attempted to check that these were OK.
I could not find death dates for Crow or Duff. But I did discover Dickinson died in 1951, making him non-PD in the UK.
Please re-open section 3.

Best,
Adrian

Sorry to hear about this and the other section. I have reopened section three. To some extent, I wish the world could agree about copyright laws.

Thanks, both wonderfully read. 18 is OK. 27 has two small notes:

1:05 –missing ‘soon’ in ‘soon to be dead’

1:08 – extra word ‘white’
Well, that was odd.
But, here is the corrected file.

A few small notes:
37: 0:04 – please cut out the ‘Corpus Christi’ (I’m having readers ignore the parentheses)

41: same here but with ‘Exeter’

These were so fun!
