I had another piece entirely in mind for this (and I may still record it) but came across this and it felt like it fit the theme of a small(er) world. If it's too much of a stretch I'll happily move it to the current nonfiction collection.

Thank you. I allow quite a liberal interpretation, so I’m sure it’s fine.ColleenMc wrote: ↑December 27th, 2019, 6:30 am I had another piece entirely in mind for this (and I may still record it) but came across this and it felt like it fit the theme of a small(er) world. The Story of The Three Little Pigs
There is a lot of background noise and the file would benefit from noisecleaning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFSg9o37HMw

In looking for a "Small World" story, which I am finding very difficult to define, I ran across this description of what that could mean:
Life has a way of connecting people in the most unexpected ways and places. Chances are that during your life you’ve had at least one or maybe even a number of “small world experiences.” Perhaps you have: Encountered someone at the most unexpected time and place; met someone while traveling to a different county or culture who touched your soul in an inspirational or kind-hearted way; been talking with a new friend and you realize your paths crossed through a connection long before you ever even knew one another; or fell in love in a surprising place. No matter how big the world seems, these coincidental happenings make you realize that it truly is a small world after all!
It hasn't helped me find a story to contribute, but it helps me wrap my mind around the concept. If anyone has a PD story to recommend, I'd appreciate a link. Geneology would be good.

Jack and the Beanstalk
There is a lot of background noise, drowning out your voice at times.
Please do some noisecleaning as before.
You will then need to amplify the file (it just about meets our standard of 89dB, but once you have completed the significant noisecleaning needed, the overall volume will drop)
I'd recommend you install our Checker program https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker
It will tell you about volume (aim for 86-92dB, with 89 being the gold standard) and background noise (there is no hard and fast rule on this, but I usually find 25-30 is about right)
The reading is great
