thank you Alan :) and I think that was your final section in this project. See you in the next !
Yes that clears my claimed sections. I am looking forward to the next volume as it is also about England (and Scotland). There are several things I would like to read if I can get in early enough.

I loved Locksley's voice too! Not upstanding in my opinion so the voice I gave him is reflective of that

thanks, April, this section is also PL ok. It only seems to me that the audio is quite distorted in some places. The sound going up and down quite often. Many parts are very quiet, and some spots are very loud, especially when they speak. Maybe this is the reason for the distortion when you noise-cleaned. :hmm: Did you do something different than usual ?

No need to change it this time, it's still understandable. But maybe check the audio next time and try to keep your volume more equal all throughout. It will make it easier to noise-clean and amplify.

Here are Lancaster and Princes for section 54. I gave two princes separately and then together.

Sonia,
The only difference is that I used replay gain when editing. :hmm:
Well heck, I am sorry. On my next audio I will not use replay gain and revert back to as I was doing it. What is it that is said? Why fix it if it isn't broken? Trying to improve my editing, obviously did not work as I had planned. :hmm:

thank you, Colleen, what a fiery dialogue you have produced here. I felt like watching a movie (incidentally "The Tudors" ) a great section. :9: you should really consider joining our theatre group for a few plays once. I think you would like the performances there.

There are only two small corrections to note:

> at 1:11: (p. 464) could you please insert "the editor" at the appropriate place after the intro ?

> at 11:53: (p. 471) repeat "hear this" – can be cut out once

thanks

Sonia
Thank you for your kind words! I get a bit self conscious when trying to put a little "acting" into my reading, I'm much more comfortable with straightforward nonfiction. So I appreciate the encouragement!

File is re-uploaded and should be corrected now.

oh I can understand that. I was so embarrassed when I recorded my first stage role for LV, even though I was completely alone in the room. But like with anything, it will get easier with time. After a while I simply got hooked on acting out and now I totally enjoy the performances. The crazier the better

You can always try with a small role (a few lines only) and see how it goes.

In any case, your section is PL ok now. Thanks

I'm not sure it can be replay gain though. I also use that and it doesn't distort the audio. Maybe it was because some parts were louder than others.

Possibly I was a touch exuberant on my own? I will try not to have such a wide range of audio volume. Sorry.

another excellently narrated section, and highly interesting to hear about the childhood of the future queen. It probably wasn't all roses. Totally flawless, Colleen, can be marked PL ok straight away. Thank you so much. :D
