phew indeed but he would have to have been really heartless to gauge out the eyes of a child  I wonder how this story goes on. :hmm:

Everything perfect, thank you so much, Jim. Straight PL ok. :)

I agree, but to defy a king can be a problem. Thanks again, Sonia.

Greetings. Would like to claim section 16, the baptism of Edwin. 'Twill be my first recording, but please clarify what sort of name or pseudonym is required. Does it have to be unique (in which case, my username is fine?), or do most people use their own name? In which case, just Amy or Amy R is find.

Where was the remake of a similar town you had visited? Always is interesting to see just how lives were in the past.
actually this place was not in England, though I think the British lake settlements must have looked quite similar. The one I am thinking of was in Latvia when I visited there last year. It was in a national park quite in the middle of the country and it was really a nice experience. :9:

Sonia
Wonderful of you to share that experience, I do appreciate it. Thanks Sonia!

Hi Amy and welcome to this project. :) Always happy to have new readers start out in here, as there are lots of very short sections.

Since you are new to the project, please read the first two posts very carefully, you will find valuable info on how to name the file, how to read the intro disclaimer (the short one in this case) and how to read the title for pictures.

I see someone already opened your reader page, here it is: https://librivox.org/reader/13628 and they put in your forum name as reader name as well. You can choose which reader name you want. Usually it's the name you also will say in your intro disclaimer. So if you are going to record "read for Librivox.org by Amy R" then I recommend you change the reader name. If you will record "read by Amy6411" then it's good as it is now.

I'll sign you up for section 16. Have fun ! And thanks for claiming.

Here is Section 65--Wolsey:
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/worldstory_volume09_65_wolsey_128kb.mp3
wow, this was a strong performance, well done, Jim. I immediately loved the first lengthy lament. :9:

I cannot help but Wolsey will always be Sam Neill for me since the BBC series

PL ok, definitely. Now that means I only need to edit my own narrator file, which I already recorded, then this can get assembled 8-) Will do that over the weekend.

Thank you so much !

No. Sorry. It is fine. I was being too particular about a certain phrase. It's a go--you didn't miss anything. Jim
