Hi there Kevin,

Here is "The White Lady of Hazelwood A Tale of the Fourteenth Century"

https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/fourteen_whitelady_holt_wc_128kb.mp3

Time: 24:49

I hope you can figure out some way to put the 'fourteenth' in the title, anyway, it is in the subtitle.

I guess I should include this again: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/23623?msg=welcome_stranger

O -- 2 Qs:
1 - Should I credit the translator as well as the author?
2 - Should I read the translator's preface as well as the author's preface?
...LJB
1. Yes.
2. No.

Hhahaha!
Got it. 😬
...and if it's OK with you, I prefer to read from the PG text:
https://www.gutenberg.org/files/52413/52413-h/52413-h.htm
This format is much easier for me to read.
(I print stuff out.)

Chances are we have enough candidates for this 14th anniversary project. But just in case, this link includes several years of State of the Union Addresses, including 1814 and 1914. And, of course, there are other years for future LibriVox Anniversary projects! :) https://www.gutenberg.org/files/5050/5050-h/5050-h.htm

I've done an 18 minute excerpt of the Campaign of the Fourteenth Regiment. I'll post it with the additional information after I finish editing it.
Critical feedback is ALWAYS welcome - in the forum or via PM

Notes for Section 5:

PL'd by non-German speaker. Dialog matches text. Sound is good. Confirmation by German speaking listener would be appreciated.
