Does it tell a love story? If so, I don't see why not. :D

PL Notes The Legend Of The River

Thank you, Anita. I love anthropomorphic stories! I have never heard this one, nor of its author. Lovely reading. I couldn't find her birth/death date either. Just one wee note:

4:25 might have overtaken them, you say undertaken

OK! I've uploaded a correction.... took more than 4 tries.... my mouth kept saying undertaken!!!
Also, I noticed archive.org had a birth year for Maud, so I changed my google search and came up with 1872-1963. Here's a reference on a sci fi site (has to be the same.... birth years match and "H" standing for Hudnut).

PL Notes
An Angel In Disguise

I had my doubts at first, but it ended up a story of love to be sure. Thank you.

Two notes:
at about :51-:55, your volume drops down sharply. I tried Amplify +6 which seemed to do the trick.
Your file name needs to be changed to remove the initials _ts. We only use the author's last name. Just fix this when you upload your file again.

Just an observation: Lots of ambiance behind your voice, but none between phrases. Are you trying a new audio setup? I've run into this myself when running noise reduction more than twice, or using too much compression, but it may be something else.

Will be glad to PL this. This evening. Or, maybe even now. But I need a link to the audio. Can't find one.

Comments:
I have set up a new laptop computer. I was trying to record into the built-in microphone and noticed the things you mentioned above.
Whenever I cut in to record a new version of a phrase, the first second or so is recorded at a very low volume, then after a sound is made into the mic, it comes back up to a normal level. I just tested with a USB microphone and this behavior is absent. As for the ambient sound under my spoken words but not between words, I have no idea what caused, but this, too, is absent when using an external mic. Live and learn.
