 luckily now we are able to cross over a huge modern bridge. That was already impressive enough when we did the car trip to Sweden a few years ago. But to think I would have to go on skates is not reassuring

A very action-packed story, nicely read, thank you, Jim. PL ok :)

all three sections already PL ok and wonderfully narrated as always. Thank you so much, Sandra :9: I especially loved the story of Lodbrog and the snakes (probably dragons).

thank you and congrats for your very first section ! lovely narration and everything clearly understandable, nicely paced and without any significant textual errors.

I feel almost bad now for giving you one single technical PL note, but here goes:

> at 0:00-0:04: at the beginning we recommend only 0.5-1 second of silence, otherwise it takes too long for the recording to start. People will wonder whether there is any audio at all ;) so all you need to do is cut 3 seconds from the beginning, and then reupload with the exact same file-name, then the old recording will be replaced by the new one.

Wonderful debut, hopefully more to come :)

And the above is up for your perusal.
thank you, April, brrr, I was getting cold just by listening to the description of the floating icebergs. :? Nicely read again, but this time I have a few notes for you:

> at 0:08: you forgot part of the full disclaimer here: please insert: “This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org

> at 0:25: also here, in the full disclaimer, you repeat the section number here again: please insert: “Section 95” and then the title of the story

> at 0:45-0:54: (p. 489) for most of the first sentence I hear a very disturbing background noise, maybe a big truck passing by ? Would you mind re-recording that part ? “It was at one o’clock in the morning of the 6th of August 1856, that after having been eleven days at sea, we came to an anchor in the silent haven of English Bay, Spitzbergen"

> at 1:30-1:39: (p. 489) the same noise is heard here... “shed an awful, mysterious lustre on glacier and mountain; no atom of vegetation gave token of the earth’s vitality

> at 10:10:-10:14: (p. 494) and again the noise: “preserved a record of the dead man’s name and age

The rest is totally fine. Only maybe re-record these 3 bits once more for a cleaner sound and the correct intro.

Thank you

Here is Section 66. Nothing I hate more than a hangover, so I would not be happy here:

 indeed, I wouldn't be comfortable at such feasts either. I would quietly ask for a glass of water and everybody would be looking at me as if I was crazy

A highly entertaining section though, flawlessly narrated. Thank you, Jim. PL ok.
