Hi alanmapstone, I noticed a few clanks in your recording, sounding like some background noise, or maybe you were hitting your microphone against something?

I noticed these at around 1:29. Maybe you could edit those out. Another way would be to generate silence at the end of your recording.

Apologies if you don't know how to do this, but if you don't, here is how:

Go to Generate>Silence, and then input the number of seconds you want. This way, no background noise or microphone clanks will come in the recording near the end.

If you think this is a minor issue, I can mark it PL OK. I'll mark it See PL Notes for now.
Thanks!

Here's Section 42 at 1:08

Section 44 at 1:26

Section 45 at 0:46
https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/silhouettes_45_symons_128kb.mp3

Section 49 at 1:07
https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/silhouettes_49_symons_128kb.mp3

and Section 50 at 0:58
https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/silhouettes_50_symons_128kb.mp3

In Section 50, Verse 3, Line 1, I read "love it over" as "love is over" to match that found in the original book.

I don't really think this is an issue. I cannot hear any significant noise.
I you are in doubt you could check with Carolin.

OK, its PL OK now. Thanks for letting me know, I'm still new to this. I didn't know that background clashes weren't something to count in.

Hey shriya, dont worry you did everything right. The proof listening instructions say to note anything that make you go, "huh?" And if this sound made you go huh you can note it. The reader can then check, but isnt obligated to change anything

No need to be super precise though of course. some sounds are part of recording-life. Youll get an ear for them soon :D
