I would like to claim Section 21, Smoke, as a reader. I would like to be listed as GeneBlack
Thank you
Hi gene, welcome to librivox!
Please also complete the one minute test before getting started. This is not an audition, but just a way for us to make sure that your technical settings are in order thank you!
Carolin, I need to resign from Section 21 as according to Phil, my technical settings are inadequate. It may be some time before i am able to get them corrected.
Thank you gene, im sorry to hear it. The good news is that everything can usually be fixed with a bit of fiddling in the settings, i have full trust in you
Hope to see you back when the technical things are sorted out

Hiya, im sorry but this section had been claimed by ginipug before you posted. Please double check the previous posts in the thread before claiming to make sure you dont double-claim, because the first reader is assigned the section. Even safer is to wait with recording until you see your name in the magic window, even though that might take a few hours.
The good news is that you can submit your section to the short poetry collection, all that needs tobe changed is the file name

Thanks... I will post to the short poetry collection. Bummer... I enjoyed this poem.
I have a pl note for section 1, the intro misses the author. This should be
The god and the opal, to theophile gautier, by Agnes Lee, read for librivox.org [by you]

Thank you!
Got it, I was looking at my PL Status table and saw this. I'll fix it and then edit this to give the link. I just want to let you know I'm still here, since I didn't reply very quickly about it!
Please post as Curtis R.
If these are already claimed, then use as needed.
thank you curtis!
you are signed up to the catalog already, your personal catalog page is here https://librivox.org/reader/14456 -- so you are listed as Curtis R properly and correctly and it will show up in this way in all the projects in which you participate
this project does not have a dpl yet, so i wiil listen to this section in a little while if nobody volunteers in the meantime thank you!
When I was recording this, there was a problem with my mic(the problem was too much static), so that explains the noise. I got the noise profile of the last five seconds and reduced it by 10dB.
If this isn't better, I would be happy to re-record if that's fine with you.
