Hi and welcome to librivox!

You are welcome to participate in this project. As this is your first claim, i will add you to the reader database. To be able to sign you up, i need to know under which name or pseudonym you would like to appear in the catalog. We can also link to your personal website or blog.

Please also complete the one minute test before getting started! Thank you!

Hi can I read 'babes in the wood' please.

https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/firtreefairybook_03_johnson_128kb.mp3 9.26

Here it is if you can use it. I wanted to read it anyway. Please don"t worry if it's not what you want.

Cheers
I really enjoyed your voice work! PL OK. :)

Welcome to LV!

Your section was nicely read.

Please extend the ending silence to ~5 seconds. We have found that some players cut off the last couple of seconds and we don't want your reading lost.

Please note the file name should have been firtreefairybook_08_johnson_128kb.mp3. Please correct the file name before you upload your correction.

Here's chapter 18, A Bottle of Brains!

https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/firtreefairybook_18_johnson_128kb.mp3 (11:06)
18 is PL OK.

For future recordings you might consider balancing out the volume a bit. If you use Audacity, here is a video that should help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fKYYj6HMZU

Also, please try and get your ending silence to ~5 seconds. 4-6 is perfect. Yours is pushing the limit at a little over 7. Sometimes that's a lot of silence for the listener.
