Can't harm to listen to the whole thing; my touchpad was kind of quicker than I so I am not quite sure if all parts still are there

I enjoyed it, but so many Latin names... and many many and's
I hope all the setting is okay and I caught a cold, so I hope that didn't show too much in the audio!
Thank you very much!

thank you all for so many sections while I was sleeping :9: will try to PL them all today still.

let's start:
Devorah, a wonderfully suspenseful rendering of this classic story. The catastrophy has been really well depicted by Bulwer-Lytton and you were reading it word-perfect.

PL ok, no doubt. Thanks !

I can totally relieve you of your worries, Ting, this was a wonderful reading and you did tremendously well with the Latin names  You have a nice reading pace, excellent expressiveness in the correct spots, especially with direct speeches and it's all very easy to understand and follow along with the text. Also no note-worthy errors or omissions, so all is perfect.

I didn't notice a cold in your voice, it sounds very fine to me. :) I hope you're feeling better soon though.

Here's your first PL ok section. :D Hopefully many many more to come.

Thank you !

Thank you so much, Sonia! It’s so nice to hear you say that!!
I think I’m up for another one, maybe 54) Marius to the Roman people (106 B.C.), by Sallust?
Thank you again!

oh April, you know me so well. I only had to read the title to know that I would love the place. :9: The description reminds me a lot of a Roman countryside villa I visited in the South of England a few years ago. I love to visit such places, even though they are mainly ruined remains nowadays. But I picture how it must have been back in the days and this section is very well describing it all.

Perfectly PL ok, and this gives you the distinction of having brought us to the 50% done mark. Congrats, and thanks !

Sonia, I just knew you would love the description and therefore the place would be somewhere you would love to visit. I have not been out of the USA though books that I have read manage to put the information of other places in a special place in my mind. :9:
50% is a great distinction and I will be getting another chapter posted shortly, I do find this so enjoyable.

And I thought it was that his works were immoral, that he was a bad influence. :hmm:
