Oops! I see I forgot to include all of the information on my first two poems, so here are the links again with info, and my third one. I hope it isn't too long for a short poetry collection. I was entranced by it. I think I would have entitled it, The Lily and the Rose.

Hi Rapunzalina,
Thanks so much for the feedback and encouragement.
If you need to split up the three sonnets, okay... however, I submitted them as a unit and in this sequence because they develop a story: the transience of human beauty and its preservation in the written word. For this reason, I would prefer that they remain together. Would that be okay?
Thanks!

Thank you, Bev! I will split them, but I will take care to keep them in this order in the Magic Window, so that they are listened to in the order you recorded themdrosophila wrote: ↑August 6th, 2018, 11:25 am Hi Rapunzalina,

woooh, I'm late to the show this month, but I only just now returned from the holidays. So here is my first contribution, with an ultra-short title
"To —" by Anonymous (????–????) - it was signed "H." in the book, but I decided to go with anonymous, since there is no way of finding out who the writer was, in my opinion. Is that ok with you ?

and here is my second contribution for this month. Totally un-PC and a bit sexist but it's a funny parody nevertheless.

and the third, a bit of tropical island dreaming, right for the summer holidays:
"Santa Cruz" by Philip Freeman (I couldn't find anything for sure about this author. There is a Philip Freeman on wikipedia, he is a Church-of-England high minister, but seeing the topics he wrote about, I'm not sure he would be the one writing such a poem)
