Voxandis wrote: July 19th, 2018, 4:50 pm Thanks for answering my questions! I did get an OK for my 1 minute test but this is the real deal so it is definitely about confidence more than technical setup. Okay I'll see if I want to post a snippet here for feedback before doing the whole thing. Excited to do my first short story!
You can do it! Read with confidence. I imagine one of my grandchildren listening to me read and that really relaxes me and makes me add more excitement to the story. .... Well, it works for me

Thank you :9:

I actually edited my post but you were so quick to reply I think I didn't save it fast enough! I just wanted to clarify:
it is not ree-KET, right? It is ri-KET? "ri" as in "ring"?
:D I'm looking for feedback on my recordings, especially on storytelling and character voices (but any feedback is welcome, I'm here to learn!). My recent contributions:

Fairytale: Tufty Riquet

Play: The Dream, role of Wovelreid: Act II, III

Yes. ri as in ring and ket as in kettle.

Foon, 5 and 13 are PL OK. And I agree with the author, it's a shame all stories can't end happily. :)

Apparently the adults in earlier times felt that children should know that things often turn sour and end badly. So don't get your hopes up kiddo and get back to work!. (unlike Disney) :D

And a BIG welcome to Librivox. Here is your welcome flower Image
I have assigned that section to you. What would you like your Catalog name to be? Your forum name is EhabFarah but your catalog name can be that or anything else. Many of us use our real names but it is up to you.
