COMPLETE Hawaiian Legends of Ghosts and Ghost-Gods by WD Westervelt -ck
Hi Jessi,
I PLed section 25 for you and have a few notes for correction. Please post if you have any questions.
7:25 repeat - They were the dragons of the precipices of the northern coast of this island, who took the body of the high chief Lohiau and concealed it in a cave far up the steep side of the mountain.
7:30 word change - On Maui, the greatest dragon of the island was Kihawahine.
I hear Goddess
8:11 missing text - "Kiha has mana, or miraculous power, like Mo-o-inanea."
The volume on section 25 is too low at 85dB. We aim for 89dB with an allowable range of 86-92dB. You might find compression followed by amplification to give you the best results as some of your recording is very low with a few spikes of loudness. If you are using Audacity here is a video to help you through the process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fKYYj6HMZU Our full video library is found here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Instructional_Videos
As a side note you have a sprinkling of 'snaps'. You might want to check/clean your mic input jack to make sure it is as secure as possible.

•Intro should be "Section zero of Hawaiian Legends of Ghosts and Ghost-Gods. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
•If you wish, say: "Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"
•Say: "Hawaiian Legends of Ghosts and Ghost-Gods, by William Drake Westervelt. Foreword and Introduction
Ending should be "End of Section zero"
Carolin,
The section for ‘Pronunciation’ has been included in the reading. Do you want it? If so, do you want the section title to be “Forward, Introduction, and Pronunciation”?

Lynda,
Section 6 is PL OK.
You might want to check your mic placement. You are starting to develop frequent popping on your P words. There is also a faint double beep off in the background. You might want to find it so you can prevent it in future recordings, e.g., 19:42.
