The moral is only a little out of date, I think. That's the beauty of fairy tales; they seem to be timeless.
Note to PL: I'm a little worried about "P"-plosives in this recording, but I can't seem to find any way to get completely rid of them…except to redo the whole thing. I'll do that if needed.
