last one for this month from me. A sort of epitaph for a very nature-loving person. I found it in his biography, quite an interesting book as well.

Hello I have recorded what I believe is an appropriate poem considering this month is the one with Valentine's Day in it. :D

https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/spc177_cupidlost_adr_128kb.mp3 time 3:22

It is a poem, "Lost Cupid" is the title, by Jacob Cats (1577-1660).

That was so cute! Thank you, April6090! Now in the Magic Window and marked PL OK!

Thank you, too, Larry! In motivational spirit! I think the recording is missing the first four lines.

Your are quite right! I have no idea how that happened, but thank you for catching it. I'll get the correction in as soon as I can.

Hello!

I'm quite new to this site and the forum, but I hope I did alright for my first serious try. I was inspired by my university to express myself creatively about poetry, so I decided to give it a go with one of the poems I performed and dissected a while back.

"To My Mother" by Edgar Allan Poe (1809 - 1849)

Welcome to Librivox!! It's always exciting to hear a new lovely voice! I hope you enjoyed recording this, so that you'll keep contributing!
Since this is your first recording, I will also comment on your tech specs, which are spot on actually!  I only had to amplify a bit, to meet the necessary volume range. If you're recording with Audacity, a nice visual hint is when the waveform peaks just above the 0.5 mark. So nothing needed to be done now, but something to keep in mind for future recordings!
Thank you for your contribution! It has been added to the collection, ready to be published at the end of the month!
